I often find myself in need of God's wisdom.
James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
But it can still seem unclear as to what wisdom looks like. How do you know when you've obtained it?
Sigh...

good question! when you find the answer let me know.
hear hear!
Mmmm... wisdom... the true elusive, gorgeous, sexy, beautiful bride. This is the unicorn and Holy Grail...
All I know is where to begin...
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom"
With that framework... I guess the rest is to be discovered... and that is part of the joy of obtaining wisdom... getting to know it.
Wisdom calls out to us all.
A really helpful (and practical!) treatise on Wisdom is "Gospel and Wisdom" by G. Goldsworthy. Once we understand God, ourselves and our relationships to Him and each other and the world then we can start to have a new framework for thinking that supercedes the mind set on the flesh.
May God grant you His wisdom as found in Christ (1Cor1:30)
